See the "News" link for active download sites and install instructions. Detailed configuration can also be

found on the "Maintenance" link. All the software avaiable on the "News" link is freeware. You may donate with Paypal if you want to, but it is not necessary.

 

Please install these 3 programs. If you have an antivirus software already, please uninstall it completely and restart before you install AVG 9.0. XP users must have service pack 2 or 3 installed to use this program. All of them will work on Windows 7 and Vista.

 

AVG 9.0 Free - download it from the CNet site

 

Malwarebytes - follow instructions to download, update and install.

Spywareblaster - Download and install. Check the manual update button. Update and Enable All Protection once a month. See instructions in paragraph 9 on "Maintenance Link".

 

CCleaner - is also a good optional program, but do not use the registry cleaner portion of the program, and please do not change the default settings.

Also don't forget to Run Diskcleanup and Defrag once a month.  You can find them in the Programs/Accessories/System Tools folder.
